Shipping Policy

There are several shipping options available depending on how soon you need your order.




📦Estimated shipping times for UK Mainland (England, Wales & Scotland)


Unless requested, live plant orders are usually dispatched Monday - Thursday each week to reduce time stuck in transit over the weekends.



In general for UK mainland shipping options are as follows:


Standard Services:

  • 1. Courier Tracked or Royal Mail 2nd (depending on weight): 2-4 working days.

  • 2. Royal Mail 48 Tracked: 2-3 working days.


Express Services:

  • 3. Courier Tracked Next Working Day: 1 working day.

  • 4. Royal Mail 24 Tracked or Fedex Priority Tracked (depending on weight): 1 working day.



Delivery Aim for Next Working Day (Order placed before 12:00 GMT on working days)

Orders placed over the weekend will be processed and dispatched from Monday


Typical couriers include: Evri, Inpost Yodel, please specify if you do or don't want a specific service using.

 



Delivery times are provided by the courier companies. In rare situations, deliveries may take longer due to external factors such as the weather, strikes, delays and mishandling during transit.


Seedhouseplants is not responsible for late / damaged deliveries from factors out of our control, however, will do our best to sort any issues that may arise.

If for any reason, an item received is damaged, please contact us with a photo on arrival and we can help.




How our Sempervivums are packaged. (Each plant is individually wrapped in paper and shredded paper is placed on top for extra protection)




📦Order Processing times


The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies, usually 0-2 working days.

My working days are Monday - Friday.

 



📦Delay Dispatch


If you would like to place an order and receive it at a later date e.g. for birthday, wedding, event etc. Just drop us a message or leave a note on your order and I will hold your order back.

 



📦Tracking


Once orders have been dispatched you will receive an email containing the tracking information on all compatible services e.g. Couriers & Royal Mail 24 & 48.

Please note that Royal Mail standard 1st & 2nd class services currently don’t receive full tracking updates.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 working days from the dispatch email, please get in touch with your name and order number.

 



📦Customs and import taxes for orders outside of Great Britain mainland


If you are based outside of Great Britain mainland (England, Wales, Scotland) when ordering plants, please be aware of your country’s import regulations. Many countries E.g. Northern Ireland / EU require documents such as phytosanitary certificates and potential border inspections, which we are unable to supply at the moment due to cost. If you place an order containing plants or soil and it gets confiscated, receives charges is delayed or is damaged, we sadly cannot provide refunds at this current time.




📦Failed Delivery


We are not responsible for failed deliveries e.g. if you are not in to accept your parcel, loss or damage in safe place or from extending / rearranging delivery window and if an incorrect address has been provided. However, we can attempt contact with couriers to in specific situations for further parcel updates.
